Happy Holidays Shear Envy Family!!!

We just wanted to touch base on a few things as we head in to our busiest season of the year. We love seeing you and your family but please keep in mind we are still trying our best to keep everyone safe and healthy during cold and flu season.
•Please text us before you come in to the salon so we can make sure we are ready for you, and this will help with capacity issues.
•Please do not bring extra people with you to your appointment unless they have an appointment scheduled or you have previously discussed it with your stylist. We don’t have a lot of space and we want to be able to give our full attention to the clients that are in our our chair.
•Please wear a mask or facial covering to your appointment for the time being even if you are fully vaccinated. This will help stop the spread of germs and keep us working to make sure you all look your best for the holiday season. If you are not feeling well please be honest and let us know so we can make accommodations for you to reschedule.
•Please make sure to keep in mind there is a lot of construction in the area that is causing for more traffic and delays.Please leave extra time so you’re able to make it to your appointment on time.

Just a reminder that the construction still continues on Cleveland Ave. Right now the front entrance is pretty much entirely blocked so please use the rear entrance off Harrison! We will get through it together. Thanks everybody!

Good morning everyone. Just a heads up to all of our clients. Canton city is doing some serious construction with the water and gas lines in front of the salon. Unfortunately they are doing most of Cleveland Avenue between now and November. Please keep this in mind when you are traveling to visit us. We have absolutely no control over how the traffic will be however we are not making too many adjustments in our schedules to compensate. Please give yourself additional time to ensure that you will make it to your appointment on time. Please continue to text us from the parking lot before entering the salon as it helps keep the number of clients in the salon at one time to a minimum. We really appreciate everyone’s help and understanding you are all amazing and we really could not do it without you! Thanks again, Laura and Kelly. 

One of my clients gave me quite a challenge. She is an amazing and humble human and I could not be more thankful to have her in my chair. She has fought with for most of her life. Attention Clients. Thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented times. Shear Envy has required all clients to wear a mask while in the salon since our reopening on May 15th, however the Ohio Stateboard of Cosmetology is following guidelines by the Governor and has decided they will be mandatory for all clients in all salons in the State of Ohio. Thank you for being so kind and understanding during this time. We realize none of this is ideal but we are happy to continue to provide you with great service while we keep each other as safe as possible. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We are sorry to report we do not have a date for reopening. We are still missing you too. Keep your families safe during this transitional time. The longer we wait the lower the risk. We are happy to answer questions, get product to you, and of course lament with you over how long and grey your hair is 😉☺️

We know many of you have countless questions, so after much thought we wanted to address a few things on here.

** We will not be doing “house calls.”
There are a few reasons behind this but the important ones are....
We have never done that in the past and feel it defeats the purpose of keeping everyone as healthy as possible.
We could face a MAJOR fine and the possibility of losing our cosmetology licenses.

** There is not a single hair color we would recommend you use at home.
We have spent time and money keeping the integrity of your hair.
It will cost you more money and be more of an inconvenience in the long run so please be patient.

As far as scheduling for future appointments goes, we are starting to make those calls now.
We have an unknown timeline we are dealing with and there is only two of us and A LOT of you so please know we will do our best (including working extended hours/ days) when we return open to fit you all in as soon as we can.
To be the most fair, we will reschedule in order of who had the next coming appointments then from there reach out to anyone who inquired yesterday.

Many of you have also asked if there is anything you can do to “help.” That’s a very hard question for us to answer because you are all so wonderful year round that we feel like you already do too much.

With that being said, we came up with this answer.
Retail Products and Gift Cards for future use will still be available for purchase during this time.
(keep in mind that if the Beauty Supply ends up having to close we would obviously not have access to products anymore.)
If you are interested in either of those options, contact one of us for more information on coordinating a porch pickup/ drop off to limit contact.

We both appreciate all of your support during this very confusing time and cannot wait to see you all hopefully VERY soon. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions! We will all get through this together.
