Hello everyone. I wanted to share with you why I have been absent from work for the past few days. Some of you may be familiar with my dog, Chewy. Over a week ago, he underwent surgery to remove 12 masses from his chest. Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with Thymoma, a form of cancer, and has experienced numerous complications due to the surgery and cancer. He has been receiving treatment at Med Vet in Akron. As many of you know, my dogs are extremely important to me, and I have been dedicating my time to his care and making decisions regarding his treatment. Thankfully, he will be able to return home today, although he will still require a drain tube that needs to be emptied every six hours, and he has not eaten for four days. I will need to focus on getting him to eat and regain his strength, as well as ensuring his incision heals properly. Due to this, I will not be able to attend work tomorrow, as I need to take him back to the hospital for a procedure that requires sedation to either pack or close his incision. Jodi will be available around 2:00 pm, and I anticipate returning to work on Tuesday. I appreciate your understanding and patience during this challenging time. 💙

I need to take another personal day off tomorrow so the salon will only be open from 2-5pm tomorrow (Friday) sorry guys 😔
