Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a new cake batter.

has launched a new premade cupcake batter. You can make 8 cupcakes or a cake in a round 9” pan. I tried the vanilla flavor; it tasted absolutely delicious. It was fluffy and moist while being sweet but not overpowering.

My only complaint is that as a cake it was just a bit too soft even after 12 hours of cooling. I would definitely recommend using these batters for cupcakes or smaller cakes.

Can you finish your mani in under 20 minutes?

I just wanted to showcase a polish I wear every fall, and is my MOST complimented polish.

This is Olive & June’s Fig Ranch from their long-lasting line. Fantastic brush, beautiful formula, and wonderful longevity.

First photo is second day of the mani. Everyone thinks it’s gel polish because of how shiny it is! 2 easy coats and top coat.

The remaining photos are 9 days later. I had minimal tip wear and chipping. It was still shiny but not as glossy. I changed my polish but only because I’m super picky. I probably could have gone a few more days, but I was ready for a change.

Some days you just go naked.

Well, ALMOST.

I knew I was getting nail mail this weekend, but my previous mani chipped. I *always* break a nail when I have no polish on so I wasn’t taking a chance.

This is my nails with Natural Base Coat and two coats of Gel Couture top coat. I could not get over how incredibly glossy and beautiful my nails looked! The lady at the grocery store even complimented them!

It made for a good day.

Gifted | Apricot Nail Treatment Duo

In August I was gifted the Apricot Nail Treatment Duo from Nailtopia. I have been using both products religiously with each manicure and I have noticed a great improvement in the durability of my nails and longevity in my manis.

I ended summer with a bang 🩷

I could not stop staring at my nails. The formula for “That’s Hot” is absolute perfection. Opaque in almost one coat, but I applied two. “Let’s Go Girls” is such a sparkly topper; I kind of wish I had applied the topper to all of my nails because the sun for the past few days was just popping.
