As we prepare to lay you to rest this morning Grandpa I thought about a couple things:

I HATE cancer!

I'm SOOOO BLESSED to have been able to call Y'all my Grandparents, even if it is by marriage

Y'all really done left me with Les and Chante 😄, they don't be listening to me

This is what 60+ years of marriage looks like and now 10 years after Grandma Thompson passed y'all are together again.

You took your last breath exactly how you wanted to and how GOD designed it.... with Me, Les and Chante, (even though I told you not to do that to me, you don't listen either)

Grandma Thompson has been able to rest peacefully because She knew we had You.
Get your rest, no more pain.

Its only the temporary marker till your actual one comes and gets installed but We wanted to have something today. Saquia has been saying "Mommy you messed the city up with this one" and you did! GURLLLLLL I wouldn't wish this feeling on no one. Can't NOBODY tell me GOD ain't good..... cause He has kept Us, and allowed Us to look like how we are feeling. IT HURTS SOOOO BAD!
