Actually… that’s usually not what’s happening.

Hair grows in 3 stages:

🌱 Anagen (Growth Phase)
The hair is actively growing and attached deep in the follicle. This is the best stage for waxing.

🌿 Catagen (Transition Phase)
The hair stops growing and begins detaching from its blood supply.

🍃 Telogen (Resting Phase)
The hair rests beneath the skin before shedding and starting a new growth cycle.

The reason you may notice hair a few days after your appointment is because not every hair was in the same growth stage when you were waxed. As hairs that were resting beneath the skin begin to surface, it can seem like your hair is growing back immediately.

The good news? This is completely normal.

• Wax every 4-6 weeks
• Stop shaving completely
