The difference between wearing and styling is as simple as a pair of earrings and a blazer.

The first picture isn’t super flattering. The pattern is loud and overwhelms me.

The second picture shows how the subtlety of the blazer evens out the loudness from the pattern while the earrings bring a fun flare to balance out the whole outfit.
