Today is hard. Today marks 6 months that you left me. When time stood still. When dreams were crushed. When my soul was shattered. 6 months ago I had to wake up to you being gone. Forever. I pretend to be ok. But I don't feel like I am. My soul misses you. Your love, your friendship. All those silly moments we had. All those things we did together. Everything ginger. I miss everything about you. and I will miss you until the day I join you. You have given me the best lessons about love and friendship. I just hope my journey gets easier. Because these 47 years have been rough. I pray that you are by my side in every happy, sad, excitingt moments. I will continue to cherish you in my heart. Until I see you again. I love you ginger. With every cell in my body and soul. 💔

Never in a million years did I imagine that yesterday was the beginning of a new life without you my ginger man. My heart if broken. I want to retract time to love you more. To kiss you more. But don't we all? Hi back one more time? You are my new angel. And I was not prepared for that.

My dearest husband passed away peacefully in his sleep. His heart decided to stop working. Went to his eternal sleep. I tried so hard to bring you back but I was too late. He left to see his mom. He missed her so much that I find happiness knowing my ginger man is now with his mom.

I love you so much my ginger. We had our ups and downs but I'm the end we were finding it how happy we were. Trying to live without you is going to be a tough tough road to walk on. You are my bestest friend, lover, companion, partner in crime, and so much more. And now you're gone.

FUNERAL INFORMATION for PENELOPE “PENNY” GALLANES

For those that have not yet heard, Penny lost her short battle with cancer on Saturday, October 14th. The services will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church in San Bernardino, CA. The Trisagion (Viewing) will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 7:00 pm – Coffee Hour to follow at the church. The funeral will be Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 am – luncheon to follow at the church. A private internment will be held on October 27th as Penny will be laid to rest near her grandparents (and the beach) in Santa Ana.
