The best way to protect your hair is dry, tucked underneath a big hat. But I get it, sometimes we need a refreshing dip. If you are taking the plunge, follow these simple rules to avoid the chlorine (or lake/sea water which can also be very damaging)

1. Pre-wet your hair before entering the pool
2. Spray in leave-in conditioner
3. Rinse immediately after swimming
4. Follow up with moisturizing shampoo and mask
