What’s my favorite extension method?

I work with many different extension methods and I do like to customize my advice depending on each individual client, but here are just a few of my favorites.

⚠️Unpopular Opinion⚠️… I still don’t love weftextensions.

And trust me, I’ve tried.

I actually used to offer wefts years ago, but eventually removed them from my service menu because I felt there were better options for my clients.

For me, the biggest issues are:
❌ They can still feel bulky
❌ They can feel heavy
❌ As they grow out, they can sag and create tension.
❌ keep them flat and become a challenge
❌ wearing your hair up can be tricky because of the ripples and wrinkles
❌ they don’t give me the same level of customization. I love with other methods.

Now do I think wefts are terrible? Absolutely not.

There are definitely clients who can look amazing with them! But after almost 20 years of specializing in extensions, I have learned that the best method isn’t the most popular method, it’s the one that’s right for your hair. And for me? I still prefer methods that allow me to create the most seamless, natural, customized result possible. So tell me… Are you a weft lover or are you with me on this one?
