It has taken me ten years of constantly begging my sister to do her hair, after talking to her about it and showing her the products she caved. I did an over over look today, only trimmed her hair. She still won’t let me cut it that short, but we’re getting there. We had fun, and it was a long day. But she loved her new hair and I couldn’t be happier.

It’s been a while sense I’ve posted anything, rest assured I’ve been keeping busy. There will be more pics to come. Message me and we can set an appointment up together.

My neighbor asked if I could cut her son, Bentley’s hair. Of course I said yes after explaining that I’m still a student. She laughed and said I normally do it. So we went for it, even though he had the wiggles it came out great. Practice does make perfect. It’s a win win, I get to practice and he got a free haircut 😀☺️

With covid-19 running a mock and salons being over booked, I did moms nails and hair today. It has been a difficult transition but we are managing. A little laughter to brighten up your day, my cat Salem was watching me to make sure I keep up with my studies. Can’t wait to see you all soon, there’s a light at the end of this dark tunnel.

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if someone just remembers to turn on the light”. With Covid-19 adding a lot of stress to people’s lives, I gave my sister a cut and color. A little relaxing and bonding time. Don’t worry we miss you too, and can’t wait to have you all back in our chairs. There’s a light at the end of this long dark tunnel.

I got to see my regular from work today, Mrs. Susan Brownlee, came in and wanted a new look. She’s an absolute doll and I had so much fun working with her. We also cleaned up her eyebrows. She was happy and rebooked with me in four weeks and made a nail appointment with me!!

Today was a busy day, mom came in to get a facial for her Valentines date tonight. Miss Marilyn came in and got a perm yesterday. She was going out of town and needed to look her best. Come see me at Trendsetters and book an appointment with me, we will laugh, bond and you’ll look fantastic leaving my chair!!

Aunt Laurie, came into Trendsetters to see me for a cut and style, I used a wand this time and can honestly say I love it more!!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Miss.Marilyn, she came in and requested a perm and then a roller set. I didn’t get a picture of the finish work. But she was very pleased with it. I had help from a class mate NaKayla, along with Gwen and a much needed push from my instructors Miss Chelsea and Miss Kelly.

The students from Phase One are doing pedicures!! They’re having so much fun, and doing a great job. You’ll be able to make appointments with these girls after March 1st.
