✨ Healthy hair rituals I live by as a hairstylist ✨

If you’re trying to grow your hair longer, keep your color looking fresh, or simply have healthier hair overall, these are my non-negotiables:

• Oil your ends every night to help prevent dryness and breakage.

• Sleep with your hair in a loose braid and on a silk pillowcase to reduce friction, tangles, and unnecessary damage while you sleep.

• Use a heat protectant EVERY single time you pick up a hot tool. If heat is touching your hair, a protectant should be too.

• Shampoo twice. The first cleanse breaks down oil, buildup, and product, while the second actually cleanses the scalp and hair.

• Shampoo your hair at least twice a week. Your scalp is skin, and healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Don’t be afraid to wash your hair when it needs it—clean hair is healthy hair.
