I had therapy yesterday, and I found myself talking about the peace I’ve been feeling lately. We reflected on a conversation I had with someone, trying to explain why it’s become so much easier for me to stay home. It’s my safe place. This healing journey hasn’t been easy, and I’ve learned that I can no longer sit in chaos—it truly affects my mental.

Yesterday was real for me. I broke down realizing that the chaos some people are comfortable in today… used to be my normal. My therapist looked at me with so much excitement and said, “You have so much confidence now.” But she also reminded me not to lose myself trying to help people who may not be ready, because that can tear me down.

I feel so blessed. I feel free. I no longer concern myself with things that don’t serve me. I don’t overextend myself anymore, and I don’t feel the need to fit in. I’m no longer interested in being in spaces where I feel tested or mentally unsafe. I move with intention now—I stand still, I’m patient, and I choose what truly brings me happiness.

My heart is full, and God, I trust You.

I pray that one day everyone gets to experience this kind of peace… because I truly love it here.
