Also a big “Thank You!” for the nomination for Harrisburg Magazine’s “Simply The Best this year! “ Lol! That one blew me away!!

As we are transitioning and figuring out where to step next we are so grateful for our faithful customers who really know our outstanding products!
For those who don’t know, contact me on this page and we can discuss your needs & wants then I will help customize your order! We will door drop your orders!
Next month, We will be going through once a week to deliver our bouquets once they are ready for market! So we will door drop on our way!
If you need something sooner we will accommodate!
So lastly, my website will be launching soon.
Thank you again for the outpouring! It was medicine for my heart!❤️🌺

To all my amazing customers. This will be a little lengthy! Lol! When I chose to open a soap shop again in 2015, we scouted areas upon areas studying to make sure we could find the perfect fit. As a freelance video production co we could land anywhere. I carefully and prayerfully looked for that town where a “specialty shop “ could thrive as just that. Here we are into our 9 th yr as an award- winning shop in Carlisle. We fought our way through Covid and battles no one knows through these past years. We are self employed entrepreneurs, it’s our calling and it’s a difficult walk at times but it sure is a faith builder!
We had a phenomenal recovery year after Covid we got our “ Get out of jail card” and reopened.
For those who don’t know my history~
Pure Scents (my first shop opened in 2000.) It’s really quite a God story filled with many awe-inspiring moments. Soap shops back then were not heard of. After leaving my town after a devastating fire to go back to school, I continued to create soaps.
When I say, “We create we do not imitate” it is so true. But sadly the market is now saturated in carlisle and the soap business has become so common. So common that even customers during Icefest weekend shared noticing it.
The sad part is the business has gotten a bit cold and even somewhat vicious which zapped the joy of freely creating and the joy in this has always been my fuel.
On top of the soap overkill, many people are suffering with trying to pay basic needs of life like heat and gas-I understand and felt for what many were struggling through.
So Mom & Pops without 9 to 5 pay back up knows our paycheck is from the public. I studied the market trends and decided it was time to uproot ourselves from town and restructure accordingly.
So now, moving forward to the good part of the story. As the flower farm we started during covid is growing some amazing doors opened that I am entering into this spring. My bouquets are being celebrated and loved in some amazing places with large quantities weekly. So I am operating the soap and bouquets close to home.
We will be on the farm to grow this part of flower business and take time to heal from the unfounded attacks that came at me and my business these past two years.
Now know, I will never leave my customers who love our products and know the levels I pour into making them the best of the best.
So every week we will be offering door drops and taking in your special requests and favorites as always. We will be intensifying an online presence also. This is so bittersweet as I have shed many tears at the thought of leaving a place that was home to me for almost a decade. I know transitions are hard especially for a brick and mortar girl who passionately loves what I do. I need to say, it’s not only my customers but my team I love that I will miss intensely. It was a rough weekend for us to get through knowing this chapter is closing. But we will have our get togethers for sure. So to my customers who love us and already started messaging me with beautiful things that made my heart smile these past few days, “You all have a most special place in my heart.“ So “No Common Scents” still exists and is still very much alive!❤️
❤️So overwhelmed by our customers this weekend who came to me loving our shop over and over. The shop itself, my product lines, the creativity and the purity I pour into everything. To hear those things repeated to me and people seeking me out to tell me, sent me to the back room to shed some tears.
I was operating on fumes so overtired but you all filled my heart!! Thank you for loving us!!❤️❄️

Sweetest Visitors!!!❄️❤️👑
I hope you all stay safe out there tonight! Just a quick catch up on me. I have been resting after pure exhaustion. Holiday nights spent in the shop until 2 in the morning back to backs producing and making products caught up with me. I am finally feeling a bit refreshed!
I have so many ideas and products I am developing, but not at break neck speed.
In resting I had a stirring in my heart to start writing again and organizing the stories my Husband and I were putting into book form years ago prior to opening in Carlisle eight years ago.
Suddenly in this season a renewed passion has been stirring in me as I hit the keys again. Submitting some older poetry that I discovered lying dormant that need to be resurrected as I realized there was a lot of life still beating in the words.
Off the beaten path, a subject dropped in my heart to write on, “ Business” Business etiquette and ethics. After twenty some years being called to enter into this world I have gleamed a lot of insights and revelations on this subject I was emmersed in. It has taken some cultural trend turns that concern me over the last few years. Since it’s a world that many are flocking to I am excited to delve into this to see where this lit path is leading me.
I want to help others in what I have observed. I Was amazed as I have writings from years ago that go lock-step with this project.
So this is a quick catch up on my season!
So I hope you all burn with beautiful forever memories of this holiday.
Take time to remember the heart of who you are under the busyness of life
and enjoy!! ❤️

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! ❤️🎄
Such a beautiful gift I received tonight and this plant and the story that goes with it from my family I celebrated with last night.
I Hope it encourages some who feel lost in a winter season of life. I wanted to share the story and I actually was gifted with the Amaryllis along with the story. Now I would love to bring the same encouragement to those feeling like a long cold and blustery season that doesn’t want to let it’s grip loose. There is always purpose in every season of life! ❤️
