I AM S T Ō A | SARA ROTH
Life is full in the best way. Raising and newly homeschooling two kids, running my own meal delivery business, and trying to keep up with the million moving pieces that come with both. Most days, the mental load is pretty heavy. I love the life I’ve built, but I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t feel like a lot sometimes.
I’ve learned that taking care of myself can’t always look like some big self care moment. Most of the time, it’s the little, intentional things I can weave into my actual life that bring me back to myself.
Walking down to the beach. Meditating. Moving my body, especially a good pickleball game. Eating food that makes me feel good. Going to see live music with my husband and friends. Dancing, laughing, and remembering to have fun.
Life can be busy and messy and just a lot sometimes. I don’t want to get so caught up in taking care of everything and everyone that I forget to actually enjoy it.
So I look for the little moments. The people and things that ground me, fill me back up, and make me feel like me.

Before the Sun. Before the Sauna. Before the Sweat.
I wrote about why I started caring for my hair before exposure instead of only trying to repair it afterward, and the simple rituals I use to care for the length I want to keep.

COMPOSED UNDER PRESSURE™
VEIL Oil™ was made to be intuitive.
Wet hair. Damp hair. Dry hair. Or all of the above.
Use it where you need it, when you need it.
How do you VEIL?™
Behind the scenes at S T Ō A. 🤍
Every Bian Stone Body Gua Sha is inspected by hand before it makes its way to you.
The little details matter.
OILS & ARTIFACTS
Building something from the ground up is a lot.
Some days I’m designing, packing, delivering, restocking, creating content, answering messages… and usually holding the camera myself somewhere in between.
After pickleball, I mentioned to my buddy Seth O' Byrne that I needed to restock my display at Rally House Pickleball Club. He asked, “You want me to get some content?”
YES. 🙌
It seems like such a small thing, but lately I’ve been feeling incredibly grateful for every person who has made building S T Ō A feel a little less like I’m doing it alone.
The friends who share a post. 🤍
The fiancé, Erich Broesel, who helps me late nights.
The people who like or leave a comment.
The people who proudly wear S T Ō A.
The person who mentions S T Ō A to a friend.
The businesses who take a chance on a new brand.
And every single person who has purchased something I created. 🙏
I want S T Ō A to be about beautiful, quality products, but also something deeper.
Composure. Strength. Gratitude.
A reminder to slow down long enough to notice the people who show up for us while we’re moving so quickly toward whatever is next.
So this one is simply a thank you, from my heart. 🤍
Xx, Sarah
