Acne can be so hard to control and so unpredictable! Here’s a few tips to keep it under control and help the healing process!

1) Use a gentle cleanser to keep the skin as clean as possible without over striping it of its natural oils.

2) Chemical exfoliants are your best friend! Harsh physical exfoliants will cause irritation and even move bacteria around. Chemical exfoliants will keep your pores super clean.

3) Hydrated skin is healing skin. Using the right moisturizer will help keep you hydrated without feeling oily and assist the healing process.

Double Cleanse System

This cleansing system is the ideal way to wash your face at night.

Step 1:
Cleanse your skin using something simple. If you wear makeup, an oil based balm is usually best to break down the makeup. Then rinse thoroughly.

Step 2:
Cleanse using a treatment cleanser. This is specific for your skins needs. If you’re not sure what that is, go speak with your esthetician. They know your skin.
Massage this onto the skin for at least 60 seconds, if not, a full 2 mins. You have to give it time to work.

Follow this routine up with some nice hydration and you’re ready for clean, glowing skin in the morning!
