A few weeks ago, it finally hit me.
At 44, I’m retired from working for someone else. I have two pensions, and for the first time in my life, I don’t have to work just to make money.
I get to start over and build something because I genuinely enjoy it.
I used to think I wasn’t chasing money, but looking back, I was chasing financial security. It was exhausting.
Now I get to take everything I’ve learned as a Marine, police officer, and entrepreneur and put it toward building something on my own terms.
Of course I still want to achieve more. I don’t think that drive ever goes away. But when I look back at where I came from, growing up in poverty, and everything I’ve been able to accomplish, I can’t help but feel grateful.
Sometimes it’s important to stop for a moment, look in the rearview mirror, and appreciate just how far you’ve come.

I’m genuinely humbled that so many of you have reached out and are excited to give this career a try. I truly appreciate it.
That said, I don’t have the time to train anyone right now. I’m still relatively new to the field myself, and my current focus is on growing my own personal brand and continuing to sharpen my skills.
