Every removal plan is case by case because it depends on your starting point and, most importantly, your end goal.

Before deciding on a removal approach, there are a few important questions to consider:

Do you like your current shape?
Do you like the color?
Do you want to completely remove the existing PMU, or are you trying to get to a point where a new result can be created?

Only after answering these questions can I explain what needs to happen to get you from point A to point B with realistic expectations, the right approach, and an honest timeline(if any).

This is what a corrective PMU cover-up looks like.

These brows weren’t done on a blank canvas. Before the new set, I removed as much of the old pigment as possible, but some color was still left behind. Instead of trying to erase everything, I worked with the remaining pigment to create a new shape and a better color.

Every correction is different. Sometimes you need removal first, and sometimes you need to know how to work with what’s left. That’s where experience and color theory make all the difference.

These brows were also done with different pigments, so as they fade, they won’t turn gray.
