We may be known for relaxation, but we are also a little obsessed with the health of the hair and scalp.

In the BEFORE image, you can see significant buildup surrounding many of the follicular openings. In some areas, the openings are almost completely covered. In the AFTER, that buildup has been removed, the follicular openings are more visible, and you can see the scalp’s response to massage and stimulation.

And we want to be very clear: this is not a hygiene issue, and it is not necessarily dandruff. Oil, dead skin and product residue can quietly accumulate on anyone’s scalp—and buildup like this usually cannot be seen with the naked eye.
