Sciatica can make even simple things, like getting out of the car or walking up the stairs, feel overwhelming. You don’t have to just “live with it.”
At Cary Chiropractic and Massage, we see sciatica constantly, and we know how life-changing gentle, focused chiropractic care can be.
When the joints in your lower back and pelvis aren’t moving the way they should, they can irritate or pinch the sciatic nerve, causing pain that can travel from your low back down into your hip, leg, or even your foot. Chiropractic adjustments aim to:
- Take pressure off irritated nerves
- Improve movement in the low back and pelvis
- Reduce inflammation and muscle tension
- Support your body’s natural healing process
Dr. Michelle Elliott uses gentle, individualized techniques, never a one‑size‑fits‑all plan. Many of our patients say they start walking easier, sleeping better, and feeling more like themselves again after a series of treatments.
If sciatica is slowing you down, you deserve caring, transformative, healing support.
Schedule a consultation today and let’s see how we can help you start feeling better.

Some of the most meaningful moments in our office are the quiet wins you won’t see on a chart.
Some patients come to us after a car accident, hurting, overwhelmed, and worried about how they can afford care. With gentle chiropractic, massage, and steady support, they go from struggling to get through their day to laughing in the treatment room again. Motor vehicle accident care handled with no out‑of‑pocket expense for the patient.
That's why Dr. Michelle opened Cary Chiropractic and Massage: to create a space where people feel safe, heard, and supported while they heal.
If you’ve had a significant change here, big or small, we’re grateful every time you share your experience with us.
This season, give yourself permission to feel whole again.
To move with ease. To sleep deeply. To wake up and actually feel like yourself.
At Cary Chiropractic and Massage, we blend gentle chiropractic care, rejuvenating massage, and supportive therapies like dry needling and K‑Laser to help your body reset and heal, not just “get by.”
This is your invitation to:
• Stay ahead of pain instead of chasing it
• Support your nervous system in a stressful world
• Feel more grounded and relaxed
Dr. Michelle Elliott and our entire team are here to help you feel your best—mind, body, and spirit.
Ready to feel more like you this season?
Schedule your chiropractic visit or a rejuvenating massage today, and explore how dry needling or K‑Laser therapy can support your healing.

There’s a moment during a good massage when your body finally lets go, that deep sigh you didn’t even know you were holding.
At Cary Chiropractic and Massage, our licensed massage therapists work closely with Dr. Michelle to focus on what your body actually needs: easing stress‑tight shoulders from work, calming low‑back tension from long drives, or supporting muscles that have been guarding after an old injury.
We often pair massage with chiropractic so joints and muscles can work together instead of fighting each other. That’s when people start noticing deeper, more lasting changes, not just a quick hour of relief.
If your body has been asking for a reset, this is a good time to schedule that massage you’ve been putting off.

Late August in Cary can be tricky for your body. It’s still hot, schedules are ramping up, and a lot of people are running on empty.
A few small shifts can help:
1️⃣ Drink more water than you think you need. Dehydration can make tight muscles, headaches, and fatigue feel worse.
2️⃣ Watch the new routine strain. Backpacks, longer commutes, and extra screen time add up, set reminders to stand, stretch, and reset your posture.
3️⃣ Choose steady fuel. Grabbing quick snacks all day can lead to crashes. Simple, real‑food options support your energy and your body’s ability to heal.
These habits don’t replace care, but they do help your adjustments, massage, or dry needling last longer and work better.
Save this as a reminder for the weeks ahead.

“I finally feel like someone is listening to me.”
We hear this often in our office, and it says a lot about how Dr. Michelle practices. Her interest in chiropractic started at 17, when repeated shoulder dislocations and countless tests left her without answers, until her dad’s chiropractor helped her heal. That experience is why she now treats every patient like family and refuses one‑size‑fits‑all care.
From car accident injuries to long‑term neck tension to that “mystery” pain no one’s been able to explain, her approach is always the same: listen closely, explain clearly, and build a plan that makes sense for your body and your life.
If you’re already a patient at Cary Chiropractic and Massage, we’d love to hear what has made the biggest difference for you.

A lot of people only think about the chiropractor when something suddenly “goes out.” But that’s only part of the story.
When a joint in your spine isn’t moving the way it should, it can set off a chain reaction: tight muscles, inflammation, irritated nerves, and that deep ache you can’t quite stretch away. Gentle, specific adjustments help restore motion in those stuck joints so your body can work the way it’s meant to.
At Cary Chiropractic and Massage, Dr. Michelle looks at how your spine and muscles are working together, then adjusts with techniques that fit you, no rushed visits, no cookie‑cutter plans.
If you’ve been “pushing through it” for a while, it may be time to ask what your spine is trying to tell you.

Dry needling is one of those treatments people hear about and think, “That sounds interesting… and a little intimidating.”
We completely understand, that’s why we like to answer questions before we ever get started.
Here are a few we hear the most:
Is it the same as acupuncture?
No. While both use very thin needles, dry needling is focused on releasing tight, irritated spots in muscles called trigger points.
What does it feel like?
Most people feel a brief, deep ache or a quick muscle twitch when we reach a trigger point, followed by a sense of the muscle letting go. We always work within your comfort level.
Who might benefit?
We often recommend dry needling when muscles stay tight despite stretching and massage, or when chronic muscle tension keeps pulling joints back out of alignment.
