A little Davines history ✨

Did you know Davines was founded in 1983 in Parma, Italy, by the Bollati family?

What started as a research laboratory creating high-end hair and skincare products for other cosmetic companies eventually became the Davines professional salon brand in 1992.

And the name? Davines comes from the names of the Bollati children, Davide and Stefania.

At the heart of Davines is “Sustainable Beauty” the belief that beauty shouldn’t come at the expense of people or our planet.

In 2016, Davines became a certified B Corporation, continuing its commitment to creating beautiful products while making a positive impact. Today, Davines is loved in 90+ countries worldwide.

Kala is a North Carolina cosmetologist with a passion for helping her clients feel confident, beautiful, and like the best version of themselves. She loves creating customized looks that enhance each client’s natural beauty while making sure everyone feels comfortable and heard in her chair.

Her specialties include blonding, dimensional color, lived-in color, makeup application, and creating personalized styles that fit each client’s unique features and lifestyle.

When she’s not at the salon, Kala enjoys spending time with her daughter, keeping up with the latest beauty trends, and continuing to grow her craft through education and inspiration.

We can’t wait for you all to meet her and welcome her into the Onyx family! ✨💛
