Happy Spring, Besties! With this new season, it felt like time to roll out this new feature.

I want to make getting appointments simpler for us and automate the back-and-forth we do today. Enter… the Waitlist!

I am so excited for this! Some of you have stumbled upon it early and already are using it 😏👏.

Here’s how it works. When you go to book a service, you can now select dates and times you have availability to be added to the Waitlist. This means a direct notification to your email or phone when last-minute openings become available. These opening usually happen due to another client’s cancellation or rescheduling.

With the Waitlist, you can select up-to five dates and as many times as you’d like 🗓️. So, if you are trying to get in during a week when I am booked, this is the best way to potentially make that happen.

You’ll receive an automated email ✉️ and text 📱 notifying you that a last-minute appointment is now available. The first person to book that time will get the slot!

Just to be 1000% clear, you have to register for the Waitlist on those specific days and for those specific times to receive the notifications about last-minute openings. Just make sure you have your Vagaro notification settings set to receive text and email notifications from Desired Esthetics. You can find this in the ‘Notification Settings’ tab of your Vagaro profile.

This is a streamlined way to make sure everyone, who wants to, gets notified when those unexpected openings become available (and you no longer have to monitor my Instagram stories for them, this will entirely replace that process!)

Just as the name suggests, a Lash Lift gives your lashes a defined look with a bold curl. It can give the appearance of more lengthened, voluminous lashes. With a Tint, a semi-permanent dye, you get an enhanced color that creates the illusion of fuller lashes.

This service is especially impactful for people:

With straight, thick, downward, or stubborn lashes;
Who want to have a minimal makeup routine – creating a curl that resembles the results from an eyelash curler, but in a way that lasts weeks rather than hours;

There are quite a few differences between Lash Lifts and Lash Extensions to take into consideration. Both are great options, but offer slightly or dramatically different final looks and require different maintenance to maintain the looks.

Here are the highlights I want to reinforce:
Lash Lifts are a stunning and beautiful everyday look that works with your natural lashes to create a defined curl; this is for people with longer or shorter lashes.
For people with longer and fuller natural lashes, we can create a dramatic effect similar to that of false lashes with a Lash Lift.
For people with shorter lashes, if you are trying to achieve a dramatic look similar to false lashes, you may want to consider Lash Extensions; they will be able to add length and volume to your existing lashes in a way that a Lift cannot achieve.
Regardless of lash type, if you plan to add false lashes... do not get a Lash Lift. Lash Lifts make it difficult to apply and secure false lashes.
Lash Lifts require a minimum of an eight-week wait between services and typically last about six weeks, so there is an in-between time for growth to protect the health of your lash hairs.
Lash Extensions require maintenance every two to three weeks. Because as your natural lashes shed, the extensions shed with them and continuously change the shape of your lashes. So, you have to maintain the look with more regular services.
