The average cycle of a woman lasts 28 days.
There are two different phases to this cycle, the Luteal and Follicular phase. Your body is producing different hormones during each of these, essentially making you feel like an entirely different person during each phase of your cycle, especially during your period and ovulation.
You can expect your weight, mood, skin, sex-drive, hair, pain, sleep, energy, strength, motivation, creativity, and the list goes on, to fluctuate entirely depending on your current status of your hormonal cycle.
A man’s hormonal cycle lasts 24 hours, meaning he feels the same each day.
Learning about your cycle and attuning your every day life to be in harmony with it, can change the way way you feel for the better. Understanding why you feel the way you do, and acknowledging that you won’t feel or look the same during your Luteal phase as you do during your Follicular, will help build confidence and connection to your body.
