FALL FUNKY JUNK WAS ONE FOR THE BOOKS!

So many of my amazing regulars popped by along with lots of new faces! I appreciate y’all waiting in line, visiting with me, and showing my cottage bakery so much love!! Y’all cleared me out quick, fast, and in a hurry!!! I count myself blessed and highly favored to be able to bake sourdough for all of you! 💖🍞 Praise God🙌🏻

I also want to give a special shout out to my gal pals Jordan, Katie, and Christen!!!! They all showed up bright and early to help load, transport, take care of babies.. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate y’all showing up and standing in the gap for me! 🥹 And last but not least, the amazing, Whitney Asay and the David Street Station crew for putting on such an amazing event!

PS— I prepped almost 300 pounds of dough for this event and I ran out of time this morning to finish baking the last bit of it!!! If you weren’t able to snag your sourdough favorites and would like a tag for Monday’s sweet and savory drop, let me know!!! 💓

There’s something deeply beautiful about celebrating Yah’s appointed times!! NOT because we are trying to earn salvation, pretend to be Jewish, or place ourselves back under the OT law, but because I love seeing the story of Scripture unfold and pointing our hearts back to Our Messiah.

Today & tomorrow our family is celebrating the Feast of Trumpets. A holy wake-up call. I honestly think we need that reminder more than once a year.

📯 REMEMBER.
📯 BE READY.

Because one day the trumpet really will sound and Jesus really will return. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 tells us: “For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with the trumpet of God.”

So this weekend, we’re laying down the hustle. We’re eating good food around a beautifully set, candlelit table, making memories, opening the Word, and remembering that this amazing life we’re building here on earth is not the end of our story. THE KING IS COMING!!!! And while we wait, our home is a place where His name is remembered. A place where our children are learning His Word. A place where we worship with JOYFUL noise!
