Carly walked in my room this morning with Henry, the snake, wrapped around her wrist and forearm. He then found his way into her shirt sleeve, up her back, and out the neck/top of her shirt. 😳😬🙃🤣 Look at the expression on her face! 💚 Anyone that knew her as a little girl knows how wild this is!!!

My first MAKE Wellness event went well! 🫶🏻 It’s always fun to get together and learn more about options to improve your health and wellness! I’m grateful to these friends who showed up this morning! ♥️

I started dreading the day these frames would fill up when they were half empty. And now…here we are. 🥹 It’s so incredible to watch your ‘kids’ grow into adulthood. I am blessed with three amazing young adults. 🙏🏻 But my mama heart isn’t quite ready for the girls’ senior year to be halfway over already.

Ready or not…

✨PROTEIN GOAL = 100-150 grams a day✨

I’m looking for ideas on protein foods/snacks! I’ll give you my ‘go-to’s’ and you can leave yours in the comments (pretty please). 🙏🏻

My favs:
- Premier Protein shakes (chocolate/peanut butter is my all time favorite)
- 2% cottage cheese
- chicken (I put 4ish ounces in a salad every day for lunch
- eggs/egg whites
- Farro
- Quest Bars
- Quest Chips
- Chobani yogurt drink (pictured)

And not to sound too picky — but I really want suggestions that pack a protein punch👊🏼. Anything with 10-15g + is what I’m hoping for! And also looking for lower ratios of sugar/carbs.

I have always been one of those sleepers who falls asleep hard every night…but wakes up in the middle of the night and can’t turn my mind off to get back to sleep. Early this morning💭, I dreamt of the late Mr. Steve Garrett. We hugged and laughed and cried, and at the end of the dream…I told him to take good care of Haley. He looked at me and nodded. I woke up with tears in my eyes and this dream really has me sideways. 😞 I know it was more about Haley, than Steve. Must just be part of the grieving process. So, I’m gonna share a little and put this dream to rest.

Haley…You were truly one of a kind. We played a LOT of soccer and softball together, with a little basketball mixed in. ⚽️🥎🏀 You were an amazing athlete. You were one of the hardest friends I ever had and also one of the most loyal. You loved hard. You fought demons and endured a lot of pain. You were wild and funny. Your faith in God was unparalleled. You never missed a chance to wish me a Happy🎈Birthday. Although I hadn’t seen you in years, our regular chats on the phone kept our friendship close. Your passing has hit me hard. I’ve loved you since we were kids. And although I imagine the beautiful reunion between you and your dad and that damn dog of yours♥️, I know there are many others up there, like Mr. Garrett, keeping an eye on you. And probably sharing a lot of good laughs. God speed, my sweet friend. 🙏🏻
