The simplified explanation is that he has a battery in his chest, with a wire that sends an electrical pulse up to his brain through his vagus nerve.
This happens automatically every 30 seconds . He also wears a specialized magnet on his wrist. If we swipe the magnet over his chest this will give an extra little shock in hopes to stop a seizure in real time.
Sometimes it's awesome some times not so much.
