IMPORTANT UPDATE

Attention anyone in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee cell phone carriers have unlocked their towers for any that are still standing. No matter what phone service you have, you can use their towers. You just have to make sure and turn on the roaming feature. There are several starlink stations set up. Heads up if you have an iPhone you can turn on satellite mode. Also, OnStar has activated crisis mode. Remember you can search for other wireless networks that may be open that you can use Wi-Fi calling to call for help or family. We hope this is helpful information. This place has a long way to go still. Recovery down here will take a long time. Officials say I-40 will take months to get back open. If you have to drive through this area, don’t. You either won’t make it and it will take a long time with all the detours if there is any.

I have not been active with soap making for quite some time. My dad has been battling cancer since last year and my husband and I have been his main caregivers.
He lost his battle Thursday.
I will let you know when I’m back at it again.
For now, we grieve and remember all the wonderful things that made my dad Dad. 💚 if you do make a donation to hospice please make it in memory of my dad. His name will go in the memorial garden.
