My heart hurts today. I can’t believe you’ve been gone for 8 years. I miss you terribly Ahma. I wish you could be here. I know you’re having the best time in heaven, but down here it’s not as bright as it used to be. I love you.

You know those people who come into your lives, and even though time and distance may separate you, they still know how to make you feel loved? That’s my girl I got this in the mail today, and it just reminded me of how much I miss her and how thankful I am that she’s my unbiological sister ❤️

It might be a new year, but one thing that stays the same for me is my nightly skincare routine. I love my and I love how my skin looks and feels when I use it. I’ve tried lots of different brands before, and while there are other really great products, I find that SeneGence just works the best for me. My favorite product right now is the overnight lip mask! With this cold dry weather, it really helps to keep my lips from getting chapped!

Got to go to the concert last night with my girl It was such an amazing show!!!

I love my skin now. There used to be a time when I didn’t, and always had to have a full face of makeup (I’m talking contour, highlight, smokey eye, the works) before I even thought about leaving the house. Now, I’m not sure if I’ve just gotten older and don’t care as much (entirely possible) or the fact that my skin care routine has made me feel so much more comfortable in my skin that I more often than not go without makeup anymore. When I do wear my makeup, I always try to remember to take it off at the end of the day (sometimes that doesn’t always work, I’m only human and I sometimes fall into bed when I get home from a long shift 😂). by far has the best makeup removers I’ve ever used! Got to learn from one of the best today .summer.a at a local training for my company! I’m so glad that I got to meet her and learn from her! Summer you are truly awesome and I’m so glad you were there today 😊😊😊

Ever have those days when you just feel crummy? I’ve felt like that most of this week. I had/have a nasty cold (finally feeling a little better) and tonight was my first night back to work. For me, when I feel crappy I try to do my makeup (I definitely listen to my body though, and sometimes sleep wins out) to help me feel at least a little more like myself. I’m a believer that if you look good, it can make you FEEL good. I definitely am not 100%, but I’m way better than I was.
