Before you jump straight into big brand’s arms (and your wallet) review this checklist first!

📌 Are you brushing too frequently/too rough?
Overbrushing can lead to mechanical damage of your hair! It can cause weakness, traction alopecia, and if you aren’t brushing gently, it is tearing your hair, causing split ends!

📌Have you recently been stressed/sick?
Our bodies don’t respond well to stress. Unfortunately, hair is the least important thing to your body when you are sick or stressed. This can cause more hair to enter the telogen phase and stop growing/start shedding!

📌Hormonal issues?
Our hormones effect EVERYTHING! If you have a thyroid condition, PCOS, or any other hormonal disorder, it may be the cause for your hair loss!

📌Overprocessing?
I hate to say it—but lifting over previous color or lightener is not your friend! Also, overusing or incorrectly using hot tools AND bond building products can be messing with your growth!

📌Tight styles?
Your heartless curls may be doing more harm than good. Make sure to wrap gently, and not tight. Also, try to avoid tight hairstyles like ponytails and buns. (And yes, slickbacks 😫)

I appreciate your continued support through the end of my career. It has been incredible to serve you all, and I can not wait to jump into the next stage in my career!

All that’s left is my state board exams. This account will become an educational and entertainment page, and I ask for patience as I have another big step coming!!

Hello to all my followers and loyal clients!! It is with great mourning, alongside great excitement, that I make this announcement.

I am retiring from my position as a hairstylist. I will be finishing up taking clients at the end of November.

As for my most loyal and incredible clients: an amazing, talented stylist will be taking my place around the end of December/beginning of January. I place you in her care and ask that you be as lovely to her as you have been to me ❤️

I am onto my next big adventure! It will be announced toward the very end of the year or beginning of next. This page will still serve as a place for inspiration and for tutorials you can trust.
