NO ACCIDENTS

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 1 PETER 5:10

God will use everything. Whatever you are facing right now, you can be sure there is a higher purpose in it. David may not have known that fighting a bear and a lion would prepare him to face Goliath. As he scattered the predators of his flock with his slingshot, he may not have realized how the Lord Almighty was honing and perfecting his aim.

But neither of those incidents was happenstance. God was working.

Likewise, it is no accident that you are experiencing what you are today. You may not sense God's instructive, purifying, and refining work in your life, but the Father is certainly working through it to restore, establish, and strengthen you.

God doesn't make mistakes, and He doesn't do anything without a purpose. This challenge you face will most certainly work for your good. So take comfort that His hand is in this, and thank Him for being your help, hope, and salvation.

Father, thank You for being with me in this situation and working through it to perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish me. Truly, You are good, amen.
