Walked in and saw Ruze Spa officially welcomed to the building on the Twisted Scissors sign. It’s the little things like this that make a brand-new space already feel a little more like home. 🥹

Huge shoutout to Twisted Scissors Wellness Studiosllc for the sweet welcome and for being such lovely new neighbors. 💕✂️

If you’re coming to see me in Suite 5, make sure you check out what else is happening in the building too! There are some seriously talented small businesses under this roof, and I’m excited to be their neighbor!

Today I have to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to Goliath, my ride or die for 11+ years.

I found him as a tiny kitten behind CSPS. His mama kept moving him and his littermates every time I figured out where she had hidden them. During a massive storm, she moved the babies into a storm drain, and I grabbed them one by one because I was terrified they were going to drown.

Then I had a dream that she had moved them into a hole in a tree.

A few days later, I found them tucked into a hole in the root system of a tree.

Somehow, out of all those little kittens I kept chasing around NewBo, Goliath became my boy. And he’s been by my side ever since.

He watches me do my nightly routine. When I brush my teeth, he demands to be brushed too. When I do my skincare, apparently he needs to supervise that as well. 😂 This picture pretty much sums up our relationship.

It’s going to be really fu***ng weird not having him in my life anymore. It’s the tiny routines I already know I’m going to miss the most.

So please give me a little grace today. I won’t be answering calls or messages and Růže Spa will be closed.

Today I just need to be Goliath’s mom and spend my last little bit of time with my old man. 🖤

Thank you for understanding and for giving me the space to say goodbye to my boy.
