Many of our long-term clients will remember our humble beginnings in the Lindale Mall basement. What started as two guys working part-time has quickly grown into a community of talented barbers and incredible clients.

As of February 1, the Five Seasons brand will continue under new ownership. These barbers have already brought a wealth of experience and character to the shop for years and are excited to build on the vision Chris established.

We appreciate all the clients who have stuck with us and look forward to continuing this journey into the next phase of Five Seasons!

FREE apprentice haircuts today until 6pm!

Our new apprentice, Alex, practicing his shave stroke on his own arm. Will be doing basic haircuts starting THIS WEEK! 🙌🏼

Currently working to finalize our certification to be a registered employer for Iowa workforce’s NEW apprenticeship program! Program will be designed as a PAID apprenticeship. No tuition, no student loans. Earn while you learn. If you, or anyone you know is interested in a career in barbering, and would be a good addition to our team, please message us directly!

Based on our interpretation of Wednesday’s mayoral proclamation we will now be requiring everyone to wear a face covering while inside our facility. Covering can come off during your service, then must go back on immediately after the service is finished.

The mayor ensures us that “Scientific studies have shown that face coverings over the mouth and nose significantly reduce the spread of the coronavirus”

In the proclamation it is said that individual violators will be cited with a “misdemeanor or municipal infraction and may be punished as provided by the Cedar Rapids Municipal Code”, non-compliance on our end could result in our state licensed being jeopardized, and our shop being closed.

Unclear how long this will be in effect. (Our prediction is that it will probably last no later than middle of the first week in November) 😉

Either way, small price to pay if it helps to “ ” and avoid having another forced shut down!

Also, we ask that you be considerate and please come alone for your service if possible, we’re still only able to operate within a limited occupancy. Bringing your friends or spouse along makes it difficult for us to control the crowd size.
