Hi friends! ✨ I’m Deziray, the owner and operator of Thrive Esthetics + Med Spa here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I’m a Registered Nurse of 7 years and a Licensed Esthetician for a little over 2 years — and while nursing was my first career, the beauty industry has always had my heart. After years at the bedside, I knew I wanted to continue caring for people in a different way: helping others feel confident, relaxed, and truly thrive in their own skin.

My journey into esthetics started after working in dermatology and struggling with acne myself. I quickly realized skincare, advanced treatments, and results-driven beauty services were exactly where I belonged. I went back to school in 2023, and shortly after graduation, Thrive Esthetics was born. Since then, Thrive has continued to grow — officially transitioning into a Med Spa this April! 🤍

I specialize in customized advanced facials using Korean skincare, LED lash extensions, brow services, and results-focused treatments designed to help you feel your absolute best. Continuing education is something I’m deeply passionate about, and I’m always investing in new certifications, trainings, and techniques to bring the best possible experience to my clients in Cedar Rapids and the surrounding Iowa area.

Outside of the treatment room, I’m usually spending time with my husband, my two dogs Rex & Frank, or hanging out with friends and family. I love hiking, being outside in a hammock, making coffee at home, trying new recipes, ordering way too much Jimmy John’s, eating sushi, and squeezing in an OrangeTheory workout when I can. I’m also a certified YAPPER 😂 but fully support a peaceful, relaxing silent appointment whenever that’s what you need.

STORY TIME: This client came to me wanting a very strong lift after meeting one of my other clients. I told her that was no problem and proceeded with a traditional lash lift. I was absolutely disappointed when the traditional lift didn’t work on her STRONG and resistant lashes.

I had her come back for a Korean lash lift and you can clearly see the results. Her resistant lashes were able to be lifted with ease and we achieved just what she asked for ✨
