15 years behind the chair. A new chapter at Refinery. Meet Vickie, the newest stylist joining Refinery Salon Co. September 1st.

After relocating from the Ames area, Vickie Mujeeb was looking for the right salon to continue doing what she’s spent the last 15 years building: relationships with her clients and really thoughtful, detailed hair.

Vickie takes her time. She listens to what you love, what hasn’t worked in the past, and what you actually want your hair to look and feel like when you leave. From there, she focuses on the details—whether she’s creating a customized haircut, dimensional color, or styling hair for a special occasion.

She especially loves haircutting and updos, and we think her thoughtful approach to her work is going to fit beautifully into the Refinery experience.

When she’s not behind the chair, Vickie loves breakfast dates with her family and cheering from the stands at football and basketball games.

We’re so excited to be apart of this next chapter for her—and for our clients to get to know her.

Vickie Mujeeb begins September 1st and is now accepting new clients.

Today we’re celebrating more than just fireworks and cookouts.

This Fourth of July marks 250 years since the founding of our country—a milestone that’s pretty incredible to think about. Through every generation, we’ve continued to grow, learn, and move forward together.

The salon is closed today so we can spend the day with family, friends, and the people who matter most, we’re feeling especially grateful for the freedom to do what we love and for this amazing community that continues to support our small business.
