WWCycling Riding Club
We are the people behind the programs. We hold group rides, social rides, 1-on-1 training, clinics and, soon, youth programs in all styles of riding.
Through philanthropy, community involvement and educational experiences, we promise to teach safe cycling and life skills that inspire Girls and Women -7 year old and up - to make healthy choices, on and off their bikes. As a direct affiliate of Wisconsin Women's Fund, our riding club members inspire girls and women to make health choices, on and off their bikes. Join us and discover or refine your love for cycling while building a community based on trust, encouragement and giving back. Our youth programs are inclusive of girls age 7-13. The need being met by this project is the growth of character, confidence, and leadership of girls at this critical developmental stage. It's not about biking. It's about the self-esteem achieved when a girl learns she CAN do it. Through healthy activities and positive adult female role models. girls can learn to accept themselves in a positive way. This supportive environment encourages girls to make healthy choices, both on and off their bikes. Girls with healthy self images are less likely to be the victims of bullying, as they convey self-esteem and worth. Among their newfound peer group, girls can find strengthen in a sense of community, and others they can confide in and trust. If you're a girl and you (would) like to ride, come ride with us! Until Wisconsin Women's Fund has their own website up and running, more information can be found at http://www.wiwomencycling.com/wwcycling-riding-club

It was a beautiful night for the WWCycling Club ride last night... what a great group of friends!
Dictated by who shows each ride, we decided on two routes; Starting at the Creamery, the 23-miler was very hilly while the 13-miler turned into a 21-miler with a couple of punchy hills but nothing too bad. For the last 6 miles, we met up and rode in together.

Winning isn't everything. Progress while having fun is! WWCycling Club's mission to inspire girls and women to make healthy choices, on and off the bike. We are a co-ed social club participating in events and activities that promote health and fitness, education, philanthropy, and building community.
USA Cycling has extended its suspension of events until May 31, 2020. We will be doing the same. We will start to prepare for June, but watch for updates at the end of May.
We have missed some nice nights for rides, though many would have been rained out or too cold. Stay safe and we hope you are able to get out and enjoy a ride from time to time.
