Did you all know the secret to achieve maximum blonde and keep your hair healthy? You either need to come in consistently (every 6-8 weeks) OR already have naturally blonde hair.

This particular client is very blonde naturally and only gets her highlights done every 4-5 months. Because of this we don’t have to use very strong lightener on her hair which keeps it healthy.

When clients with naturally darker hair (I’m looking at you “I was blonde as a kid” folks. PS I’m guilty of it too).
Going too long in between color services when you have darker hair naturally can make it harder to achieve the bright blonde we want and love. Lightener processes more evenly and quicker when it’s closer to the scalp. This means we can use a more gentle lightener to keep our hair safe and healthy.

So, if it’s been a while and you can see a couple inches of roots it’s time to make an appointment! Your hair will thank you!! And so will I! ♥️♥️♥️

I love being able to give clients their dream hair! We talked for weeks about this big chop. Many texts were exchanged and lots of late night encouraging convos were had! Sometimes it was her talking me into it!!! I think we’re both happy that we went through with it!
