Just because lashes are marketed as “long wear” doesn’t mean they should stay glued on for weeks. 👀

Your natural lashes are constantly growing and shedding at different rates. When lashes are stuck together for too long, that tension can pull on the natural lash and potentially cause damage.

And millennials… we already learned this lesson with our eyebrows. 😂 We do NOT need to traumatize another set of hair follicles.

✨ Remove temporary lashes properly
✨ Never rip or pull them off
✨ Keep your natural lashes clean
✨ And if you want long-term wear, get extensions applied safely by a licensed lash artist

Protect those follicles, babe. We need them. 💕

Premade fans or handmade fans? 👀

I use premade fans all the time because they save me time, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But knowing how to make my own fans is a skill I’m SO glad I learned.

And trust me… my fans did NOT start out cute. 🤣 It took me YEARS of practicing to get them where I wanted them.

That’s the thing about lashing. You’re not supposed to be amazing at everything immediately. Keep practicing. Keep learning. Make the ugly fans. 😂 Every single one gets you closer to becoming a better artist.
