First and foremost, I want to thank anyone who has ever supported my career as a hair stylist in any form or fashion. I cannot express the gratitude that I carry for each and every person that has joined me along my journey to this point. That is why this will be quite a bittersweet post.

Beginning at the start of the new year, I will officially no longer be pursuing a career in the beauty industry. While this decision wasn’t an easy one, as this has been my life for the nearly the past decade, it is the start of a new chapter and I feel it is right choice for me.

I do have a couple of things to say to everyone who may be reading this…

To my clients:

Thank you. Thank you for every appointment we have shared. Thank you for your ongoing support. Thank you for your trust. I carry a lot of love for each of you and I hope our paths cross again in the future. I know we all have shared many stories, life experiences, conversations, thoughts, etc. and I will miss being able to capture glimpses of your lives through your eyes. There have been tears shed, from every emotion possible, and there aren’t many other areas life where you get to experience relationships and friendships built in a client/ service provider setting, but I know you guys were the first thought I had when thinking about how difficult this transition will be. Thank you for allowing me to be as authentic I can be. I cannot express the heaviness I feel in my heart knowing that life is taking me in a different direction. I love you all. Thank you.

I also have given the salon a couple designers as far as giving recommendations to you for your future appointments, however, if you would like to have a personalized recommendation, feel free to message me ♥️

To my salon family:

This isn’t goodbye, this is a thank you. You have been my entire adulthood to this point. You have had a front row seat to basically every single version of me and accepted me during both the best and the worst versions. You have shown me how healthy friendships should be and I consider you all family at some capacity. I love all of you so so so much. I’ve learned so much about life from each of you both professionally and personally. I don’t know how I’m going to live without having break room yap-fests. You are all some the best people I’ve ever had the opportunity to meet. You have each inspired me in one way or another. I’ve gotten to equally witness your different lives and learn from your experiences as well. You’ve helped give me strength and support for any and every situation I have had trouble with. I don’t know if I will ever find the appropriate expressions for the gratitude and love I feel for everyone. Thank you. Thank you for accepting me and loving me. Thank you for giving me direction when I felt lost. Thank you for being the rock I needed when stability was the biggest challenge I was facing. Thank you for recognizing what I needed when I didn’t know what it was. Thank you for everything. I’m proud of who I’m becoming because of you and I’m not sure that’s a debt I can ever repay, but I need to communicate my gratitude in some way. I love you all and please don’t feel anything but excitement for my next chapter.
