Our oils are chosen for their qualities to moisturize, for hardness and luxurious fluffy lather. They are naturally gentle, excellent for all skin types. We hope you’ll love our soaps and bath products and enjoy using them everyday. Your body will feel the difference using handmade soaps. Most commercial soaps are not really soap, but detergents. Detergents, unlike soap, are made using petroleum distillates and other synthetics and chemicals rather than natural fats and oils. Glycerin is a colorless, syrupy, natural byproduct of soap making and adds a soothing skin emollient quality when added into many products such as lotions, moisturizers, and of course, soaps. Hand-made natural soaps retain all the natural glycerin in them. Commercially made soaps have most or all of the glycerin removed and often resell to other industries. This is why after using commercially made “beauty bars” or “deodorant bars” your skin feels itchy and dry.
