Opened my email to the most amazing news! Zero Beauty was published in one of the biggest Bridal Magazines in the country! Jacquelyn and Alyssa’s wedding was one of the most beautiful and fun wedding’s we’ve ever been a part of, and still brings me so much joy and pride when I think back on it. Before Jacquelyn’s wedding, I provided beauty services for her sister Lauren’s wedding, and since then, this sweet family has become so special to me. This news today has me feeling all the emotions. When the pandemic began, I made the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily halt my business, to help protect my clients and my family and to this day, have not returned. Since then, I’ve sat on the sidelines, watching all my talented, brave and amazing co-vendor friends face this pandemic head on and continue to push through. It’s been so hard to sit by and not be able to participate, but seeing this news today, that we were published in such an important and prestigious magazine, reminded me how much I love my job and how desperate I am to get back to it. Thank you Jacquelyn, Alyssa and Lauren, for trusting me with such an important, momental occasion in your lives. I am forever grateful! 💛💛✨

We are beyond excited to see our work featured over on today! This shoot was like a dream! The most beautiful landscape with a picture perfect backdrop, and an absolutely stunning couple! It all made up for a perfect day at work! It was also the last job we did before we all went into lock down, so it is really good for the soul to see these beautiful photos and the finished product from a time that wasn’t so gloomy. We recently designed a special, custom version of our logo to show our love and support for the LGBTQIA+ Community! When we received the new merch, we were so thrilled with how it turned out, we wanted to share the love with all of you as well, so you could rock and celebrate your Pride with us!
Here at Zero Beauty HQ, we have been absolutely devastated with what has been happening in our country (and Worldwide) and we are trying our best to find ways each day to be the best allies we can be! For every item sold, we will be donating 100% of the proceeds to organizations that support the LGBTQIA+ Community. We are hoping this will be just one, small way we can give back to a community that has been so open, inviting, loving and overall, just so damn good to us!

Everything is so heavy. Our country is burning. Our Black friends are hurting. We see you. We stand with you. We want and DEMAND and we will NOT be silent! We must be an ally, and we must find as many ways as possible to support and fight with POC and for them. As a small business and an active member of our community, Zero Beauty has always been a fighter for equal rights, a believer in unity and a lover of all humans, but today, TODAY, BLACK LIVES MATTER!! It’s always been important, but especially now, for non POC’s to educate ourselves on not just the Black Lives Matter Movement, but also the history of the systematic racism this country has suffered for too long and how we can all come together to END it. Today, we mourn the recent and tragic losses of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd and so many others before them, and we will continue to march beside our Black friends and family demanding justice and change for a safer, brighter future for the Black community, all people of colour and America.

After the Maryland Governor’s announcement this week, since we are considered a non essential business, it is with the heaviest of hearts that we will be closing until further notice.
