Noor-e-Hina Mehndi

Mehndi is the art of painting the body in ornate designs with henna. Associated with transformation and transcendence, it is a beautiful and mysterious art form that has been used for centuries to heal, to adorn and to bless. Aaliyah brings her artistry from her birthplace in Pakistan where she grew up in the tradition. She's graced me (Misty) with instruction in the craft where I've discovered how much Mehndi is a true social endeavor. It's magic lies as much in the company and conversation it brings as with the mesmerizing images it displays. After spending countless hours fine tuning our talent on family, friends and each other, we're excited to take the leap and share this ancient and majestic tradition with you.
