this past year has been filled with so much growth, so many amazing clients, and more memories than i could have imagined when i first opened these doors.

i’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me, trusted me with their hair, and helped make this little salon what it is. this business is so much more than hair to me, and i’m so lucky to get to do what i love every day.

wrapping up a GREAT summer and one crazy week last week. it was truly the gift that kept on giving 😂 but anyways… we made it!

but DON’T let this be your sign to box dye your hair at home 😂 because results like this aren’t always guaranteed! color correction is a process, and every head of hair is different.

so i do, in fact, love a good brunette moment just as much as a blonde one 🤎✨ low maintenance, high impact color will always have my heart. rich, glossy brunettes that grow out beautifully? say less. 👏🏼

let’s talk intentional product use. 👏🏼
this is a perfect example of why your stylist’s product recommendations matter.

see that dark band through the middle? that’s permanent color buildup, and it’s one of the biggest challenges to correct. once permanent color is layered over previously colored hair, it doesn’t just “wash out” it creates bands that are difficult, time consuming, and sometimes impossible to completely remove in one appointment.

the good news? this is often preventable. permanent color should only be used when it’s actually needed, like covering gray or lifting virgin hair. refreshing mids and ends usually calls for a demi-permanent or gloss instead.

trusting your stylist’s product knowledge doesn’t just protect the health of your hair, it keeps your future color options open and makes achieving your dream hair so much easier. 🤍
