Cupping is a technique I use that works a little differently than traditional massage. Instead of pressing into your muscles, it gently lifts the tissue using suction.
That lifting helps bring fresh blood flow to tight or sore areas, release tension, and can help your body move things like inflammation or built-up fluid out of the area. A lot of people feel looser and more mobile pretty quickly after.
It can leave temporary marks, but they’re not bruises—they’re just from the increased circulation and usually fade within a few days.
It’s really great for back, neck, and shoulder tension, especially if you feel like regular massage hasn’t fully gotten into those deeper, stubborn areas.
