Why do we love strength training so much?
Strength training isn’t just about building muscle anymore… the newest research is showing it’s one of the BEST things you can do for your brain, hormones, metabolism, bones, and long-term aging. 💪🧠
Lifting weights helps improve memory, focus, blood sugar balance, confidence, and even reduces the risk of cognitive decline as we age. Translation? Strong muscles = stronger future.
You don’t need to train like an athlete. Just move your body, challenge your muscles, and stay consistent. Your 80-year-old self will thank you. 🤍

This is a time frame to rely on my nutrition.
Walking has been a coping mechanism for my stressful days. I will need to rely on others a little more here. This is a hard thing for independent people.

When you complete a task like organizing a room or clearing a space, your brain activates its reward system.
This is closely tied to the dopamine reward pathway, which is responsible for motivation, satisfaction, and that subtle sense of “I got something done.” ✔️ YAY! 😀
Cleaning also reduces visual and mental overwhelm. Clutter constantly signals “unfinished tasks” to your brain, which can increase stress. When you remove that clutter, you lower activity in stress-related systems like cortisol response, making it easier for dopamine to function effectively.
There’s another layer too: momentum. Even small wins, like clearing a countertop, create a feedback loop.
You feel a bit better, which increases motivation, which leads to more action, which reinforces dopamine signaling again.
That’s why people often report feeling lighter or calmer after cleaning!
