One of the simplest things you can do to support your body is⌠slow down your breathing.
Most people I see are holding tension not just in their muscles, but in their nervous system. Even when the body is at rest, the mind is still âon.â
Try this:
Take a slow breath in through your nose for 4 secondsâŚ
Hold for a momentâŚ
Then gently exhale for 6 seconds.
Do this for just a few minutes.
This simple shift tells your body itâs safe to relax. Muscles begin to soften, the nervous system settles, and tension starts to release.
Healing doesnât always start with something big â sometimes it starts with a breath.
