I’m excited to be speaking this Friday at Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center for a special women’s gathering on skincare created with Muslim women in mind.
We’ll be talking about the little things that can make a big difference in our skin, from daily skincare basics and acne prevention to hijab hygiene, friction, tight wrapping around the neck, and how these habits can sometimes contribute to irritation or discoloration.
I’m looking forward to sharing practical, realistic tips that help us care for our skin while honoring our routines and lifestyle.

Six years in, and this year reminded me that growth doesn’t always show up as a dramatic increase in revenue. Sometimes growth looks quieter. It looks like stronger systems, more stability, more recognition, expanding your voice, earning new credentials, continuing to serve your community, and building a business that feels more grounded than it did the year before.
This year, I became a Master Esthetician Instructor, wrote four articles, continued growing my platform through Brainz Magazine, received meaningful recognition through the DMV Gala and Google reviews, strengthened the systems behind Suraya, and continued supporting and sponsoring community events whenever I could.
Not every kind of growth can be measured by a percentage.
Some growth is becoming more established. More visible. More trusted. More intentional.
Six years later, Suraya is still growing — just in more ways than one. 💜

A quick reminder for our Vinted Go customers 💜 Our regular Suraya Beauty Lounge business hours are different from our Vinted Go pickup and drop-off hours. Please check the Vinted app for our current Vinted Go hours before heading over, so you don’t make the trip when parcel service is closed. 📦✨

Brows don’t have to be 100% symmetrical to look beautiful and balanced. Some clients simply require a little more thought, time and precision.
This client has Bell’s palsy, which affects her facial symmetry, along with a scar through her right brow. She actually told me during the appointment that this felt like more than just a cosmetic procedure, and I understood exactly what she meant.
This was one of those cases where mapping and microblading required a lot of adjustment to work with what was naturally there and create balance between the two brows.
They’re not identical. They don’t need to be.
I’m so happy with how beautifully they came together. 💜

We are currently welcoming Massage Therapists, Permanent Makeup Artists, and Lash Lift & Brow Lamination Artists to join our women-only beauty lounge in Chantilly, Virginia.
My goal is to offer more than just a room to work in. I want to provide a professional space where you can focus on your craft, build your clientele, and grow your career without taking on all the stress and overhead that comes with opening and managing your own studio.
You’ll have the independence to control your schedule and the freedom to build a work life that fits your life, while still having an established space, support, guidance, and mentorship available to you.
And if you are just starting your career, please don’t assume you need years of experience before reaching out. Licensed new graduates are absolutely welcome. Skill develops with experience. What matters to me is professionalism, reliability, a willingness to learn, and genuinely caring about the women you serve.
There is no rent, flexible scheduling, competitive commission, and the opportunity to grow your own clientele within an established women-only beauty lounge.
I built Suraya around the belief that women don’t have to compete with one another to succeed. We can create space for each other, mentor each other, and grow together.
