23 years ago I was thrilled when I found out I was accepted into the beauty program at my local vocational school. The industry intrigued me so much. I was a wild child while also feeling beyond my years. The match for this industry felt so perfect.

Over the next 17 years I had created big ideas and dreams for my clients. I wanted to build a culture, create an amazingly cozy space and to be able to offer the very best service experience a salon could offer. But honestly, not only did I never dream of opening a salon, my dream was to NEVER own one. But I quickly realized the only way for me to bring this vision to reality was to create it myself by building a salon of my own.

Four years later, it was another absolute dream and joy to have become so successful that I was able to design and build a new home for CPB from the ground up. I have my husband to thank for his belief in me and letting me take this dream and make it so wildly successful.

I never imagined where I’d be today. I still feel like little Danielle sometimes, not knowing how I got to be so accomplished with nothing but a high school education.

The truth is that I’ve had a growing love of this industry for longer than I can remember. It’s blessed me with travel, making new friends and has rewarded me with a lifestyle I fell in love with.

With that being said, I’ve also felt a pull for something bigger in my life. The past 8 weeks have been full of giant flashing arrows leading me down a different path. It’s felt very abrupt but looking back, I wasn’t paying attention to the previous nudges.

I’m not sure where this leaves me. What I do know is that I’m going to be stepping away from the chair for quite some time, maybe indefinitely. And THAT leaves me with a ton of emotions. I’m not able to put into words what my clients mean to me. We have shared hysterical laughing, late night chatting, you helped me furnish my first house, we’ve vacationed together, shared our deepest darkest secrets, we attended each others weddings and family funerals, we’ve been with each other through loss and gains, a few of you have been my pet sitters(very important job❤️ 🐾) and we’ve supported each other through various stages of our lives together. You will all be apart of my life forever.

I invite you to keep in touch. I don’t know what the future holds but I can tell you, when I think of what’s next for me, I am electrified with excitement, just like I was when I was accepted into this industry and into your lives.

I can promise you, this isn’t the last you’ll see of me. I can’t wait share with you what God has planned for me next❤️
