Good morning I am back in West Virginia and back to work today. Anyone who needed rescheduled will be rescheduled today, if you haven’t been already. And I’ll be making some more announcements later in the day about future openings!

Good morning and I’m so sorry for the early announcement. But all appointments today will be canceled. I planned to fly Michigan to see my son for the first time since his birthday tomorrow and I have the opportunity to leave today instead and I will be taking it. Another post will follow up this one later on today after I’m landed and settled. I apologize for the inconvenience this caused anyone, but I will be taking any opportunity I can and get to see him. If you had an appointment today, I promised to reschedule you as quickly as I can for next week or you are welcome to a refund for deposit prepays you’re welcome to forfeit or sell your slots. I hope you guys understand and thank you in advance. I’ll see you in a couple days. 

We finished off our back to school event Monday. And I just wanna say another thank you to everyone who came out. You guys are amazing. Haven & Hues: Beauty & Wellness Co. can’t wait to put more events like this on in the future. An incredible anonymous client donated all the pizzas for the second day and I just wanna say that I truly appreciate all of you. I’ve really come to meet some of the best people through building this career.  I can’t wait to see with the future for the salon and for all of us.

Ahhhh I’m so excited for my girls growing business!
Keeping up with clients can get very difficult to do as one person (im so grateful to have this problem, but the truth still stands), and people just vibe with the people meant for them. If you’re having difficulty getting on my books or maybe I’m not the injector you prefer, Jessica Burress with Beyond Beauty Company is an amazing choice. I’d trust her with my life. Yall have heard me rave about Kelsey before, and today was just another reminder of why. She goes to school all week and still finds time to show up and help at the salon she’ll soon be calling home. She will no doubt soon be one of Charleston‘s favorite nail techs. 💅🏼 💜

She specializes in acrylics, 3D art and the cutest maximalist designs, but today she traded the extra for tiny nails and absolutely killed it. She made sure every little girl who sat with her felt special, pretty and included.🥹

Kelsey has quickly become one of my favorite people to have around. She’s hardworking, thoughtful, always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed, and genuinely cares about the people sitting in front of her. She fits right in here, and I’m so excited to officially have her at Haven. 🥹💜

She graduates in THREE short weeks, so make sure you’re following her page Pretty Little Tips now… because she’s about to be one to watch. 💅🏼✨

And then there’s Riley. 🥹💜 This girl has consistently shown me just how dedicated and hardworking she is.

She graduates from Charleston School of Beauty in November for esthetics and plans to specialize in waxing, brows, facials and all the relaxing things. ✨ But today, she jumped right in and painted more tiny nails than I could even keep count of. 😂💅🏼

She kept the kids entertained, made them feel comfortable, beautiful and handsome, and was just genuinely happy to be there for them. I can already tell Riley is going to do big things in her line of work with clientele of all ages.

Paidyn with Hair by Paidyn is the newest member of our little crew and is already fitting in PERFECTLY. 🥹💜 She handled absolutely everything thrown her way today like a champ.

She took on sooo many haircuts - straight hair, curly hair, textured hair, thick hair, fine hair, and somehow made every single kiddo leave her chair happy and feeling so pretty. ✂️✨

I walked in at one point and she was French braiding a little crown on one of the girls, and she was smiling from ear to ear. 😭 We added some tinsel after their cuts and these girls were FEELING themselves. Looking in the mirrors, posing with their friends and their backpacks… it was seriously the sweetest thing to watch. 🥹✨

The sky is the limit for this girl. She’s newer to the game, but you’d never know it watching her work. She slays adult womens cuts too and has such a natural talent for blonding and lived-in color.

Morgan with Hair By Morgan absolutely SLAYED the entire day, but the star of the show was definitely her knack for men’s & boys’ cuts. 😍🤌🏼✂️👏🏼

She was so kind and patient, the kids loved her, and she completed every single inspo pic thrown her way with ease. She really got to show off just how talented and versatile she is today, and we are so lucky to have her at Haven & Hues: Beauty & Wellness Co. 🥹💜

Two of these boys requested a cross design with their cuts due to Momma telling us they had just been saved, and watching her reaction was very sweet.
