This video is the exact moment I knew we finally perfected the barrier baume formula. It’s surreal that I captured this moment on video and now we are one day out from launch.

My smile at the end says it all.

My incredibly talented (FEMALE!) chemist and I have been developing and working on this formula for over 2 years.

From the ground up— selecting ingredients, sourcing raw materials that match our required specifications and paperwork, tweaking ingredient percentages, perfecting the emulsion system, PET testing, microbial testing, HRIPT testing with dermatologists, Consumer Perception Clinical Study with our dubose customers, the list goes on and on.

To be honest, the process of custom formulation is grueling. You don’t see years of work behind the scenes. We don’t stop until the formula matches my standards or outperforms them, which at times feels impossible and sometimes it truly is.

It took me years in this industry to learn this is not the norm. It has made me question if this industry is right for me. Question if I will be able to survive the rat race against companies who shell out products every quarter. If caring and giving this much will pay off or if I’m playing the “game” the wrong way.

But recently it hit me that the people who are doing truly amazing things are doing it their way, doing it differently, going the extra mile even though some people may disagree with it or say they are wasting precious time.

There is no blue print. The only wrong way to do business is to have no unique way of doing business. You have to standout somehow, and for me that is through my commitment to delivering you the best of the best. The sunken costs, lost time, and insane amount of energy is worth it to me.

Our products stand out because they are a true testament to quality over quantity. If we can’t do it better we aren’t doing it at all. I’m not here to sell you product after product, I’m here to change the industry and set new standards.

Sizing with less expensive swim makes a HUGE difference— you want the right proportions and fit for it to look expensive.

The way that I spent the majority of my life thinking I could never pull off lip liner or really any pigmented lip product for that matter…

Safe to say I was wrong… really wrong

In aesthetics, we often inject a half a syringe of filler into the lip to re-energize and awaken the area. The purpose isn’t to augment or change the size of the lip, but rather to provide the lip region with support by defining and sharpening the lip border and hydrating the existing lip tissue so it appears fresh and back to its once natural shape.

I have always felt strongly that a sharp, defined lip border makes all the difference from a facial balancing perspective.

Tell me I’m not the only one !!!

Every business owner knows the reality of taking meetings wherever and whenever… & sometimes you have to do your finishing touches while you discuss really unsexy business logistics. Make it work— That’s the job 🤌🏼

As an injector of 6+ years and a fast metabolizer, I was getting Botox every 90 days on the dot- I fell in love with the glass skin appearance - only for it to fade away 30 days before my next treatment. For myself and most, increasing the treatment dose was not a viable option as it made us look unlike ourselves. We all know that too much Botox is worse than none at all— hopefully not learned the hard way.

Between the pressure to look wrinkle-free at work, my wedding, and the commitment to wanting to feel good in my own skin, I never considered taking a break...but I finally found a product that lets me go longer between treatments (I blinked and all of the sudden I have gone 14 months !!!!!!) without sacrificing that serotonin-boosting glass skin that makes anything seem possible.
