I should warn you, I rarely use it anymore. I’m about to explain a little about myself and Shannon’s Suite.…
I’m going into my 30th year of being a professional hairdresser and I absolutely love the Beauty industry. I not only work behind the chair but for going on 9 years, I am also a platform artist and salon educator. I am honored to represent L’ANZA HEALING HAIRCARE and they send me all over the country to teach hair color, cutting and styling techniques. My investment in extensive continuing education is valuable. I, also, at times work with advertising and model prep for commercials, magazine lay outs and so forth.
I love talking to people and I’m big into real good energy. I love reminding people they’re beautiful and accentuating it. I do hair for Men and women.

My studio is private. It’s not your typical salon. I give undivided attention to my client. Or maybe you don’t want people to know you color your hair or personal issues with your hair.
Shannon’s Suite Salon does not double book, you’re paying for my time. I do not allow other people in my room while I’m working with you. I do not wear a phone watch nor do I wear a blue tooth. Your time is your time. But that also means I’m not accessible every minute…think of it like a physician.
I typically, also, don’t leave people sitting and waiting long. I’m usually right on time. In the event that it looks like I may run a few minutes behind with client ahead of you, I text you to let you know. Time is precious to me and I return that to my guests. I’m able to customize appt times to fit each guest.
I offer silent appointments to people who just need a break from chitter chatter.

Shannon’s Suite Salon is “a salon made by me, for you.” When I designed it over a decade ago, it was to simplify my life but also to be able to really give each client the space, time and appointment they deserve. Professionalism is very important to me. With that being said, I enjoy a lil old school. I not only get your hair healthy…I teach you how to keep it that way.
Healthy hair never runs out of style. And neither does a healthy mind. I am not accessible 24-7….although my clients do know, in an emergency, I’m not just their hairdresser and I would be there for them.
Healthy boundaries protect artist longevity.

With a great big smile, I ask that you call or text 304-552-1101 for appointments. I do not book through social media. I generally will respond within 24 hrs. I don’t take time away from the person I’m working with to grab my phone. ❤️

By appointments only, I do not take walk ins but you’re welcome to text and check for availability.

The long hair is a wig. She loved the coloring and texture but didn’t want the shape or length so I completely shaped and created her own look. I put the wig on mannequin to show the front because it’s no one’s business to know what’s on your head or under your clothes 😉
I have been shaping and cutting wigs for over 15 years… if I can be of assistance to you in anyway with choosing a wig or customizing it for you, let me know….

Just a little before and after of corrective hair coloring… those direct dyes are so easy for teens to put in…but will bring you to tears to remove. I am glad I could make her giggle and squeal with excitement with her new look.
Who says money pieces are just for blondes??? We put the fire where the money is and incorporated a fun spicy look so she could still keep her s***k and her new job💕
She’s naturally beautiful!!!!
