When it comes to wellness, it’s easy to assume that more vitamins, more supplements, more treatments, or higher doses must mean better results.

That’s not always true.

Natural. Balanced. Still you.

Most of us have probably been told at some point, “You just need to drink more water.”

And sometimes that really is the answer. 💧

But hydration is a little more complicated than simply carrying around a giant water bottle all day.

Your body also relies on electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium to help regulate fluid balance, muscle function, nerves, and blood pressure.

Things like sweating, vomiting or diarrhea, certain medications, intense exercise, illness, and even big changes in how much you’re eating can affect that balance.

For most healthy people, regular meals and water are plenty. You don’t automatically need an electrolyte drink, supplement, injection, or IV every time you feel tired or thirsty.

That said, there are times when IV hydration or supportive IM therapy can be a helpful option, especially when oral intake has been poor, recovery is the goal, or you need a little extra support.

At Sageview, we try to match the treatment to what you actually need instead of automatically doing more.

Sometimes the answer really is a glass of water and a good meal. Sometimes a little extra support can make sense too. 🙂
